Privacy Policy

We at Agami Media (collectively, “Agami Media,” “we” and “us”) strongly believe in every person's right to privacy. Within this Privacy Policy we explain our information collection technology and practices: the information we collect, the way we store and use this information. We realize that the privacy of your personal information is very important and we will not treat this information in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.

Information We Collect

Publishers, Advertisers, and other users of the Agami Media website may explicitly provide us with personal data by filling out web forms or contacting us by email, chat, or another means. We store this information when necessary for doing business or complying with the law. Some of this data is mandatory for creating Publisher or Advertiser accounts as we can’t transact with Publishers and Advertisers if we don’t’ have it. Examples: name, email, phone number, physical address, payment info.

In addition to the explicitly provided data we may also collect:

For visitors to the agamimedia.com website: information such as device, referring URL, IP address, time and duration of the visit.

For logged in users (Publisher or Advertiser accounts): in addition to information such as device, referring URL, IP address, time and duration of the visit, we may also collect information about user activity on the site after login. Registered users may receive transactional messages by email or other means as well as promotional newsletters if they have opted to receive such newsletters. We may collect info about opens and clicks on links in these messages.

For users who see ads served by our tracking: info about the device a click came from and time of the click. Device info collected in this way is not connected to any personally identifiable info of the user. We use the information collected only for recording transactions – leads and sales referred by our Publishers.

We collect this information using cookies, log files, and similar tracking technologies.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files that a web site server stores on your computer. These files can only be read by the server that has set them. Cookies can be read when you revisit the specific web site or when you visit another web site that hosts a script from the domain that set the cookie. As cookies are data files, not programs, they can’t read, change, or erase information from your computer or from other web sites you visit.

Cookies set by the server of the web site you visit are called “first party cookies”. Cookies set by other domains are called “third party cookies”. You can get a “third party cookie” if the third party web site runs a script on the web site you visit.

Cookies usually contain information about your device or about your activities on the web site you visit. They don’t contain info about your identity. Examples: your IP address at the time you log in; your password, so that you don’t have to type it each time you try to log in, etc.

Why we use our first party cookies:

  • For aggregate audience analysis: to know where our visitors and Publishers come from, which pages they visit, how much time they spend on the site, etc.
  • To prevent and resolve technical issues
  • To improve web site usability
  • To prevent abuse
  • In our tracking: to record transactions (clicks, leads, or sales)

We don’t use cookies for interest based advertising (IBA).

We don’t have scripts on the agamimedia.com website that set third party cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser, allow cookies from selected websites only, or choose to be notified before accepting cookies. Note that if you disable cookies, some parts of our web site may not function as expected. You can delete cookies stored in your browser at any time.
